Welcome to Mini Sweater Pin Loom Day!

Eight years ago, I started Mini Sweater Pin Loom Day with a simple idea: What if pin loom weavers from around the world could make one little sweater and celebrate together?

​

Every December 20, makers create a mini sweater using four 4×4" (10×10 cm) pin loom squares and join a worldwide celebration of weaving, creativity, and community.

​

For a while, I wasn't sure I could continue. I love this project, but keeping everything going on my own had simply become too much.

​

So this year, we're doing things differently.

​

We're looking for Ambassadors

​

Mini Sweater Pin Loom Day is becoming a community effort and I'd love to have you be part of it.

 

What does an Ambassador do?

​

It's simple! As an Ambassador, you'll help us spread the word about Mini Sweater Pin Loom Day by:

​

- Sharing the event with your pin loom community
- Posting or talking about it on social media
- Inviting other weavers to participate
- Encouraging people to make their own mini sweater
- Helping us reach new makers around the world

​

You don't need to organize the event, create a website or manage anything complicated.

 

I'll provide the information and materials you need. You simply help share the idea in a way that feels natural to you.

​

And yes, Ambassadors can still make their own mini sweater and participate in the celebration!

​

How much time does it take?

​

As little as you can give. You can share a post, tell a few friends, invite your weaving group or simply mention the event in your community.

​

There is no complicated commitment and no need to be an expert. If you love pin loom weaving and would enjoy helping this little celebration grow, you're welcome!
