Pin loom weaving is a simple, portable way to create woven pieces with yarn. You work directly on a small loom, building the fabric one layer at a time, and from there, there are many different ways to weave, join and transform those pieces.

You don’t need to know how to weave. You don’t need a complicated setup. You can simply start with a loom, some yarn and a little curiosity.

There are several ways to work on a pin loom, each creating a different kind of fabric and opening up different possibilities.

What do I need to get started?

 

Not much. A pin loom, some yarn and the basic tools needed for the technique you want to try are enough to begin exploring.
