I AM NEW TO PIN LOOM

Never woven on a pin loom? Let’s start from the beginning.

Stories_2.jpg

If you’ve never used a pin loom before, you’re in the right place.

Pin loom weaving is a simple, portable way to create woven pieces with yarn. You work directly on a small loom, building the fabric one layer at a time, and from there, there are many different ways to weave, join and transform those pieces.

You don’t need to know how to weave. You don’t need a complicated setup. You can simply start with a loom, some yarn and a little curiosity.

How does pin loom weaving work?

There are several ways to work on a pin loom, each creating a different kind of fabric and opening up different possibilities.

Tapestry weaving, Trios weaving and Bias weaving are the most common ones. Explore each technique and get to know them in this link: FAQ
